Taking inspiration from the Game Boy Camera, a nostalgic relic from 1998. Its 128x112 pixel monochrome sensor offers a unique, low-resolution aesthetic that starkly contrasts with today’s high-definition imagery. Embracing this deliberately limited tool has transformed how I approach my work, encouraging me to focus on composition, texture, and the emotive power of simplicity. The pixelated, minimalist images I capture with the Game Boy Camera challenge conventional ideas of photography, allowing me to document the world in a way that feels both nostalgic and creatively refreshing.
